Ambulia 'Limnophila sessiliflora'
This beautiful, lush green stem plant adds fast-growing coverage to almost any tank.
6x Stems per bunch | Guaranteed root systems | Submersed grown
Care requirements
pH: hardy stem plant tolarating 5-8pH (Ideal range 6.5-7.5)
Temp: Thrives at 20-26 degrees Celsius but can tolerate a wide range of temperatures from 15-30 degrees Celsius
Flow: Will tolerate low to high flow. Stems will benefit from slight movement to help strengthen stems and dislodge detritus pockets, preventing algae growth
Lighting: Live plants require a full-spectrum (RGB), Plant-specific light to ensure your plant is receiving the energy it needs to process the nutrients in the aquarium and grow efficiently. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding lighting options
Fertilisers: Stem plants benefit greatly from a root tab and CO2 injections. A basic all-in-one fertiliser, suited to your water conditions is recommended. Ambulia is hardy and will survive without added fertilisers in a small number of high-nutrient systems. For Pink coloured new growth, a combination of root tabs, CO2, liquid ferts and strong lighting is recommended
Substrate: This stem plant prefers coarse sandy silty soil (sand should be coarse enough to not compact root systems), can also be grown in aqua soil, inert gravel with the addition of root tabs. Painted gravel or rocks are NOT recommended in tanks with livestock
Under the right lighting and tank conditions, this plant develops bright pink foliage in its new growth.
